With 600 employees across 12 countries he represents over 25 nationalities and has dedicated themselves to generating energy out of wind, biomass and biogas. The unit is committed to the development of emerging technologies such as PV, geothermal and wave energy. He is compelled to prevent climate change and participates in numerous international climate protection projects.

Your Tasks

• supporting the package manger in contractor management with main suppliers
• leading design process for sub packages
• managing interfaces to other packages
• supervision of manufacturing and construction, coordinate QA activities at the suppliers
• coordination and supervision of construction activities onshore and offshore
• supporting design process for relevant mechanical components on foundations for wind turbines and offshore substation
• supporting to time scheduling, resource planning and risk management
• providing technical support for claim management

Your Profile

• civil/ structural engineer with good knowledge of structural steel; qualification as welding engineer ("Schweißfachingenieur") desired
• significant professional experience in project management of large projects (min. 5 years) required
• excellent project management skills including contract management
• excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills required.
• good knowledge in design of offshore foundations and experience in quality management desired
• effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in English and German.
• experience in the field of engineering and implementation of electrical substations desired, ideally in the wind energy business
• good knowledge of MS Office applications (MS word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project etc.)
• flexibility, good physical fitness and willingness to travel required
